Junior Samantha Ledy swabs her cheeck at the Driven for the Cure event presented by Up Til’ Dawn and the Student Health Center Wednesday at Gross Memorial Coliseum. Participants of Driven for the Cure registered to be on the National Marrow Donor Registry to match donors with patients for marrow or umbilical blood transplants. The event was held in memory of Shane Gottschalk, a Fort Hays University student who passed away from cancer in November of last year.
