Q: What got you into music?
A: I started learning when I was very young, maybe when I was three years old. My mom was also a musician and she also studied music. I love music. The most important thing was that I grew up in the church, so we used music to praise God. So naturally, I just loved music.

The music of Homecoming
The Fort Hays State University Tiger Marching band’s day started at 9 a.m. Saturday at Lewis Field and ended at 10 p.m. after FHSU’s 40-20 win over Emporia State University. Between the game, the parade and rehearsal, the band members dedicated their day to school spirit.
